Become a part of our talented deugro team as we look for a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) in Hanau, Germany.

Key responsibilities:

• Personnel responsibility for the assigned project team
• Project management including project implementation, controlling, escalation, and lessons learned communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Team development through suitable project assignments
• Proactive collaboration with Operations to ensure smooth execution of contractual requirements
• End-to-end order processing from customer order to file closure, including invoicing
• Leading and contributing to strategic tender activities with branch management and stakeholders
• Leading project negotiations and clarification meetings
• Business and financial controlling for projects and department
• Customer care, support, and business development with existing and new clients
• Developing and maintaining efficient processes and supporting IT infrastructure setup
• Ensuring quality across processes and supporting strategic goals
• Collaborating with other deugro offices and departments

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

• Completed training or studies in freight forwarding
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in project cargo freight forwarding, including breakbulk and heavy lift, ocean chartering, contracts, and project management
• Strong industry contacts and global network
• Team player with a hands-on mentality
• Enjoy working in a diverse and dynamic environment
• Proficient in German and English, written and spoken
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally (10–25%)
