As a Relationship Manager you are the primary point of contact for clients to access the entire suite of wealth‑management capabilities and solutions offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management.

You will work closely with the Investment Manager (IM) in the day‑to‑day planning and servicing for the client, acquiring new clients in line with the business proposition of the bank and growing existing business relationships, assuring a holistic and high‑standard client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, acquire and maintain HNW/UHNW clients, entrepreneurs, single/multi‑family offices and institutional investors.
  • Increase share of wallet/Assets under Management by undertaking a business development, sales or relationship management approach as appropriate.
  • Be responsible for overall net new assets creation and revenue generation on the respective books in a scalable and efficient way.
  • Balance client relationship, prospect building, investment growth, administrative compliance, personal growth and development on a day‑to‑day and longer‑term basis.
  • Plan and manage resources (time, budget) to run an optimal business.
  • Work in close cooperation with other coverage, product and support functions to deliver Deutsche Bank’s value proposition, leveraging other divisions where possible, namely Corporate Business, Investment Banking and Asset Management (DWS).
  • Recommend investment products, credit solutions and services suitable for clients based on their objectives, resources, time, horizon, risk profile and preferences.
  • Review client portfolios periodically to ensure performance is aligned with clients’ investment objectives and risk profiles.
  • Partner with IMs in covering clients to discuss and manage financial goals, risk tolerance, research and analyse market conditions, provide bank views of various investment types, recommend asset allocation and explain how they benefit or hinder investment objectives.
  • Act as the accountable client owner for all AML aspects of the client relationship, including KYC and account behaviour.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with management teams and inform them of any circumstances that require supervisory attention, review or approval as per compliance guidelines and policies.
  • Actively support the business and growth strategy, plans and values, new products and services, contributing to the achievement of a high‑performing team.
  • Participate in relevant client social events as well as PR and other marketing activities.
  • Timely follow up on and complete various key risk indicators highlighted locally and by the booking centre – periodic KYC reviews, document deficiencies, cross‑border travel/meeting call reports, portfolio reviews, etc.
  • Maintain awareness of local compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Document quality notes in a call report after prospect/client calls or meetings, summarising discussions, additional actions required and follow‑up calls.
  • Build and maintain existing client relationships, owning the relationship process from initiation to closure.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with a background in finance is preferable.
  • Certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services as a client relationship manager.
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite; an additional C&EE language, especially Polish, is a significant asset.
  • Credible financial services experience as a client relationship manager, preferably in the HNW/UHNW segment.
  • Sound understanding of the Swiss private banking market and the current business of the C&EE region (especially Poland).
  • Strong and natural interest in financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Client‑oriented, solution‑oriented and able to work in a high‑paced environment under pressure.
  • Superior investment acumen and a solid network of clients in the target coverage market is required.
  • Good understanding of the governing regulatory framework.
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent communication skills with a positive approach.
  • Professional integrity.
