Your area of work
Group Corporate Strategy (GCS) is a CEO area function of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) and serves the organisation as competence centre and project management hub. As a member of the GCS team, you will support the group-wide strategy process and necessary measures for the implementation of various projects, and you will also be in close contact with the decision-makers of DBG.
Your responsibilities:
- You are supporting the development of long-term strategic goals and projects related to DBG’s corporate strategy Horizon 2026 in close cooperation with DBG business segments and potential strategy functions.
- You will support the GCS team with end-to-end project management across all DBG business segments and target company business partners and external parties (banks, advisors, auditors).
- You will review industry & market trends, benchmarking as well as company research and profiling.
- You will develop and validate business plans and financial modelling.
- You will prepare presentations and decision documents for the Group Executive Board, Supervisory Board and other senior executive management of DBG.
Your profile:
- You are enrolled at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of the internship and have completed at least four semesters. There is also the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap year after completing your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – no certificate of enrollment is required for this.
- Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience in consulting / corporate strategy / corporate finance.
- You have very good grades (high school/university), are motivated and are curious about the topics of the three departments.
- You have strong analytical skills and good knowledge of quantitative tools and methods.
