Have you ever wondered what happens after a trade is concluded on an exchange? How do buyers and sellers receive the energy they have traded, and how are risks managed if one party fails to meet its obligations? As the central counterparty for the EEX Group and several partner exchanges, European Commodity Clearing (ECC) plays a critical role in ensuring the secure and reliable functioning of European energy and commodity markets. Here you can find more information about how Clearing does work at ECC.
