Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

The responsibilities of the Derivatives Clearing Design section at Eurex Clearing AG include designing, implementing, and maintaining clearing functionalities for both listed and OTC derivatives. It further ensures ECAG\’s compliance with its global regulatory transaction reporting obligations. To align new functionalities with major clearing members and to support market wide trends and initiatives, Derivatives Clearing Design manages regular clearing committees for ETD and OTC Derivatives and contributes actively to several industry-wide working groups.

As part of the team, you will experience the functions and dynamics of the post-trade world and gain deep insights into the clearing of derivative products. You will be part of challenging projects aiming to improve the financial markets. You will grow with your tasks and turn challenges into milestones in your curriculum.

Your responsibilities:

• You support the team and projects in developing business concepts and management presentations related to financial products and services
• You contribute by conducting market and competitor analysis
• You evaluate internal processes and experience the coordination of content and projects in cooperation with related teams
• You create monthly reports analyzing clearing data
• You support the development of data reconciliation reports and dashboards
• You will get in touch with interesting tasks on an ad-hoc basis related to an international clearing house.

Your profile:

• You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters in mathematics, economics, business, or similar.
• You are skilled in data analysis and familiar with tools like Power BI
• You are eager to obtain new skills in Financial Markets, especially in clearing context and data analysis.
• Thanks to your cooperative manner, you quickly find your way into the team. Your responsible commitment as well as strong communication with very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
• You have very good knowledge in Microsoft 365 (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint und MS Word).
• You have basic programming skills in SQL and Python/PySpark
• You are proficient in written and spoken English. German is beneficial.
