Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) Mental Health, ZI Mannheim

The Department of Public Mental Health is looking for a motivated PostDoc (m/w/d) to work with a series of studies on the ecological translation of evidence-based innovations in public mental health provision. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training programme to promote mental health literacy and is offered by ‘MHFA Ersthelfer’ at the Central Institute of Mental Health. A cluster-randomised controlled trial will be conducted to investigate the effectiveness of MHFA training in different educational settings.

Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) – Mental Health First Aid, ZI Mannheim / Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH)

Full-time (100%, FTE); fixed-term contract for 3 years with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and manage the development of a cluster randomised controlled trial.
  • Coordinate and carry out data collection at the study centers.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary, international research team that collaborates with clinical services and research departments at CIMH and conducts innovative research in the field of Public Mental Health.
  • Present findings at scientific conferences.
  • Publish papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to the writing and submission of grant applications.
