As the Loading Master (m-f-d), you will plan, communicate, and witness the jetty operations inclusive of ships berthing, mooring, and transfer operations conducted in compliance with applicable statutory regulations, Terminal’s procedures, contractual requirements, and Industry best practices. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Plan and communicate inventory levels of the FSRU’s.
- Plan and coordinate for incoming LNG/c cargo, and its cargo distribution to the two FSRU’s.
- Manage the efficient and safe transfer of personnel and equipment to/from vessels under triple banking.
- Ensure that the vessel complies with safe cargo loading and operating practices as per terminal regulations.
- As part of loading master duties, understand vessel compatibility and clearance processes and identify potential issues.
- Compile and/or review procedures, operating manuals, checklists, and templates for Terminal marine operations.
- Act as on-board Terminal Representative to coordinate all transfer operations between the export vessels and the terminal.
- Plan and coordinate the BOG management prior to and during cargo operations.
- Coordinate and oversee hose connections, cool down, and purging processes.
- Document, evaluate, and report vessel performance such as transfer rates, pressure, and temperatures, etc.
Your profile
- You have a Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Chemistry.
- You have at least 10 years‘ experience in relevant positions, and at least 5 years‘ experience in the LNG industry.
- You are team-oriented and communicate well.
- You have strong analytic skills.
- You are able to identify problems and successfully implement solutions.
- You have a good level of IT understanding and are able to prepare activity plans and reports.
- Proof of good written and spoken English.
