- Lead the strategy, design, and go-to-market execution of handset propositions, including trade-in, forward trade-in, insurance, and other device lifecycle programs
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities to drive ARPU, customer satisfaction, and retention
- Own and optimize the end-to-end customer journey across mobile handset acquisition, upgrades, trade-in, and retention touchpoints
- Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver seamless propositions and exceptional customer experiences
- Negotiate, manage, and expand relationships with external partners (e.g., OEMs, insurance providers, trade-in vendors) to maximize value creation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy and maintain a market-leading position
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute roadmap priorities efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, mobile handset proposition management, or commercial roles in telecommunications or consumer electronics
- Deep understanding of the handset ecosystem, including trade-in programs, device financing, insurance, and device lifecycle services
- Track record of launching revenue-generating initiatives, increasing ARPU, or improving B2C customer retention
- Experience managing complex customer journeys and collaborating across diverse teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills—internally and with strategic partners
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
You have a degree Business Administration or comparable vocational training with a corresponding specialization or subject-specific additional training or several years of professional experience in the field of product development.
Furthermore, you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional specialist knowledge and skills:
- Very good experiences in classic and agile forms of cooperation
- Excellent experience in the management of strategically oriented projects
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in the commercial and Mobile Handset environment
- Several years of experience in commercial management for 5-8
- Detailed market knowledge in the field of Device Ecosystems
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Analytical way of working and strong ability to work in a team
