Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will work on the identification and assessment of strategic fields of action based on the company/group strategy and business potential with new technologies.

Your main tasks will also include

• You will work on the development of business models for parts of the new and existing business, including evaluation and decision‑making of the impact on the overall portfolio.
• You will carry out market and customer analyses to evaluate market potentials as well as trend analyses in the area of responsibility and prepare profitability analyses including business cases.
• You will identify portfolio gaps, potentials and implementation measures and carry out risk and feasibility analyses in the area of responsibility.
• You manage complex projects.

Requirements

You have a degree (Business Development, Stakeholder Management, Market Analysis) or completed vocational training in conjunction with several years of professional experience in the field of business development.

Furthermore, you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or special specific knowledge and skills:

• Advanced knowledge of evaluating business opportunities and digital business models.
• Advanced knowledge in the field of market research, understanding and the relevant product portfolio.
• Advanced knowledge in Business Case Justification (BCJ).
• Very good understanding of technology.

This position is also possible on a part-time basis.
