Junior Expert Human Resources *
in Bonn
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.
As Junior Expert Human Resources, you will support Welthungerhilfe’s HR Team, particularly in international HR work, and will be jointly responsible for the development and implementation of HR standards in Germany and abroad.
This will give you a practical insight into the HR work of an NGO and expand your HR expertise in a global context. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant contribution to the further development of our global HR team.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of HR projects and strategies as part of the HR Team „Systems, Standards & Services“
- Assist in the rollout of HR systems, e.g. on the implementation of a new time management system
- Take administrative responsibility for managing the company pension scheme and mobility programs
- Support in the creation and development of HR onboarding videos to enhance the employee onboarding experience
- Provide technical and strategic support to the HR team on various HR-related matters
- Support HR managers in the quality assurance of global HR standards across Welthungerhilfe’s country offices
Your profile
- A University or College degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field
- Initial professional experience in HR, ideally within an international context
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A high level of personal initiative, strong team spirit, and the ability to work independently
- Excellent intercultural communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Very good written and spoken English and German language skills
