The DIL (German Institute of Food Technology e. V. ) is a non-university, non-profit research institute that has served as a driver of innovation for the food industry since its founding in 1983. In Quakenbrück-at the heart of Lower Saxony's food industry- an internationally networked institute has emerged over the past decades, bringing together approximately 120 experts in food technology, food science, analytics, sustainability, and food data.
To strengthen our commercial services team, we are looking for a
Human Resources Specialist (m/f/d)
Full-time / Part-time
Your responsibilities:
- Support for department heads and employees, including drafting contracts and addressing labor law issues
- Advising managers on HR matters
- Point of contact for training and instructor for business-related apprenticeship programs
- Managing the applicant process
- Point of contact for students and interns
- Support during the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assistance with payroll processing, administrative processing, and preparation of HR-related documents
- Overseeing time tracking
- Supporting and implementing HR projects and strategic HR initiatives

Your Profile:
- Completed business apprenticeship, preferably with additional training in human resources, or a degree in business administration with a focus on human resources management
- Professional experience in human resources and advanced knowledge of payroll accounting are desirable
- Training instructor certification is desirable
- Knowledge of labor, payroll tax, and social security law
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Strong aptitude for numbers, absolute discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility
