Head of Finance Turkey (f/m/x)

Overview Location: Istanbul Start Date: Immediately The Head of Finance leads all financial operations for the Turkish subsidiary, ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic support for business growth. The Turkish subsidiary is based in Istanbul, which is also the place of work. Key Responsibilities Deep expertise in financial management within an international, multi-currency environment In-depth understanding of Turkey’s regulatory and tax framework Strong knowledge of IFRS, Turkish GAAP, corporate taxation, and treasury operations Resolves complex financial challenges, such as cash flow constraints and cost overruns Designs and implements financial strategies including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization to drive business goals Partners with DEUTZ headquarters to establish and maintain a standardized financial reporting framework Reports financial results, forecasts, and KPIs to the regional head and DEUTZ Corporate Finance Manages relationships with external stakeholders—banks, auditors, and tax authorities—and negotiates financing and compliance issues Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and statutory compliance Leads, develops, and manages the finance team to foster a high-performance culture Aligns financial processes with DEUTZ Group policies and supports strategic business priorities Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 3–5 years of financial experience in an international corporate environment Solid expertise in financial reporting under IFRS and Turkish GAAP, as well as in corporate tax planning and treasury operations Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and negotiation skills Native-level Turkish and fluent English required; German is an advantage Are you looking for a varied and exciting job in a collegial team with an attractive salary and ideal working conditions?
