SOFTWARE ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS
(M/F/D)
Your responsibilities
You will work with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction on our demanding, international consulting and development projects. In doing so, you will develop groundbreaking concepts and visions for the architecture and development of modern software systems, provide expert advice on challenging technical issues, and analyze existing software systems and their development processes. You enjoy demonstrating your proposals down to the code level and actively participate in the implementation process. You will transfer the expertise necessary to implement your concepts to our clients.
The range of topics is broad, spanning from the design of modern software and system architectures (e.g., in the cloud and automotive sectors), to architecture documentation and modeling using UML and SysML, the development of domain-specific modeling languages, and the selection and customization of processes, methods, and tools for professional software development.
You stand out for your ability to quickly familiarize yourself with various application areas and to develop both production-ready software and prototypes to demonstrate the viability of your concepts.
Your profile
You hold a university degree (bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D.) in computer science or another field of natural sciences or engineering. You are thoroughly familiar with the state-of-the-art in modern software engineering.
You have a strong command of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, Go) and have used modern software engineering tools, such as modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Magic Draw, Papyrus), DSLs and code generators (Xtext & Xtend, JetBrains MPS), or build management and deployment systems (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
For our consulting projects, strong communication and presentation skills, as well as fluency in both spoken and written German and English, are essential.
