We're looking for a Product Engineer who combines strong Python engineering skills with a product mindset. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and customers to build features that solve real-world problems and deliver measurable impact.
Location/Language:
- Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)
- Applicants must be based in Germany or have the right to work in Germany.
- German language proficiency at B2 level or above (required).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, build, and iterate on new features.
- Turn customer feedback into practical technical solutions.
- Build APIs and backend services with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Help shape product direction by bringing technical insight into product decisions.
- Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and developer experience.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience developing software with Python.
- Experience building production-grade web applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience working with SQL databases and REST APIs.
- Understanding of software architecture, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- A product-first mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business impact.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
