Your Mandate

🚀 Due Diligence and Value Creation Workstreams

• You own key workstreams in buy- and sell-side due diligence engagements across commercial, digital, technology, and data dimensions.
• You translate investment hypotheses into analytical approaches, run the analyses, and turn findings into clear, decision-ready storylines.

📊 Equity Story & Value Creation Design

• You analyze and challenge business models for leading Private Equity clients and management teams across industries.
• You contribute to equity stories and help derive concrete value creation initiatives.

🧠 AI and Tech Differentiation

• You leverage DevelopX’s proprietary Tech, AI and Software capabilities to test assumptions and generate insights beyond the standard CDD scope.
• You help assess the implications of AI on business models and value creation.
• You support the development of AI roadmaps and link them to bottom-line results for investors and management teams.

🤝 Investor & C-Level Exposure

• You work closely with private equity investment teams and portfolio management, together with our Business Leads and Partners.
• You present your workstream results clearly and confidently in client meetings.

📈 Team Collaboration & Method Development

• You coordinate analysts and junior team members within your workstream, manage deliverables, and contribute to refining DevelopX’s due diligence frameworks and standards.

What We Expect

✔ 1–4 Years in High-Performance Environments
Experience in Strategy Consulting, Transaction Advisory, Digital Strategy, M&A, Private Equity or comparable deal-intensive settings.

✔ Analytical & Strategic Excellence
Hands-on experience evaluating business models and financial plans, ideally under transaction timelines. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. Power BI and further data & analytics skills are an advantage.

✔ Digital & Technology Understanding
Solid grasp of digital business models, platform economics, SaaS metrics, technology architectures, data ecosystems, and AI-driven differentiation.

✔ Structured Communication
Clear, hypothesis-driven, and outcome-focused, with the confidence to present to investors and senior stakeholders.

✔ Ownership Mindset
You take responsibility for your workstream, work independently in fast-paced environments, and are keen to grow into team and engagement leadership.

✔ Academic Background
Strong academic track record in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.
Fluent in German and English.
