What You Can Expect

In this key role, you will actively and independently shape the information security landscape of our company. You will work closely with the executive management and IT leadership and serve as the central point of contact for all security-related topics.

• You will develop and implement our information security strategy and ensure its continuous improvement.
• You will collaborate closely with IT, Procurement, Quality Management, and Legal & Compliance to ensure security requirements are embedded in all relevant processes.
• You will conduct risk analyses and security assessments and derive concrete measures from them.
• You will create and maintain policies, concepts, and training materials related to information security.
• You will promote security awareness across the organization through targeted initiatives and training.
• You will represent information security topics to internal and external stakeholders.
• You will maintain regular contact with the parent company’s information security team and occasionally with the advisory board.

What you bring along

• You hold a degree in IT, Information Security, or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in information security – ideally in a mid-sized company or corporate environment.
• You possess relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, or similar.
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and are capable of driving topics forward proactively.
• You are a strong communicator and can convey complex topics appropriately to different audiences, including executive management and specialist departments.
• You have business-fluent German skills and very good English skills.
• You demonstrate a high level of integrity, responsibility, and assertiveness.
• You enjoy shaping information security as a cross-functional topic and collaborating across departments.
