Join an innovative young team in Renens (Lausanne). /p h3How you make a difference /h3 ul liYou develop and operate modern data pipelines on AWS, from raw data ingestion to the curated data layer. /li liYou work with the team to implement batch and streaming solutions with Apache Spark on AWS Glue, EMR Serverless and Apache Kafka. /li liYou play an active role in shaping the development of our data lakehouse architecture with Apache Iceberg, AWS Lake Formation and Amazon Athena. /li liYou use AWS Step Functions and Amazon EventBridge to orchestrate complex data and processing workflows. /li liYou make an important contribution to ensuring the high quality and stability of the platform through monitoring, observability and automated controls. /li liYou make targeted use of CloudWatch, Grafana and OpenLineage to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the entire data processing chain. /li liIn association with internal stakeholders, you support solutions from the initial design through to implementation and operation based on the principle of “You build it, you run it”. /li /ul h3What you have to offer /h3 ul liYou have several years of experience in developing productive data pipelines with Scala (2.12) and Apache Spark (3.x), and you are familiar with best practices for high-performance, testable and maintainable applications with Scalatest, Scalafmt and ScalaFix. /li liYour in-depth knowledge of SQL and Apache Iceberg enables you to handle ACID transactions, table formats and schema evolution securely in modern data lakehouse architectures. /li liIn the AWS environment, you have practical experience with at least three relevant data services such as AWS Glue, Amazon EMR Serverless, Amazon Athena, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon S3 or AWS Lake Formation. /li liYou use Terraform (version 1.2 or higher) to describe and manage cloud infrastructures and have a good understanding of the entire infrastructure-as-code life cycle. /li liIdeally, you have already gained experience with Apache Kafka, OpenLineage, AWS Lake Formation or modern monitoring and reporting solutions such as Grafana, Amazon QuickSight or Power BI. /li liTo complete your profile, you enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams, take an independent approach to your work and are able to convey technical issues in an understandable way. /li liYou are confident communicating in German or French; you have a good command of English in a technical environment. /li /ul pWhat you have to offer You have several years of experience in developing productive data pipelines with Scala (2.12) and Apache Spark (3.x), and you are familiar with best practices for high-performance, testable and maintainable applications with Scalatest, Scalafmt and ScalaFix.
