Construction Project Manager - Data Centers, Substations & MV/HV Infrastructure (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main

Your Role

As a Construction Project Manager - Data Centers, Sub-Stations & MV/HV Infrastructure (m/f/d), you will lead the delivery of mission-critical data center and electrical infrastructure projects across our growing portfolio. This role is particularly focused on projects involving MV/HV power infrastructure, substations, utility interfaces, and electrical distribution systems, making it a unique opportunity for professionals with both construction management and power infrastructure experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of data center and corresponding infrastructure (like substations) construction projects from inception through completion.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and project controls.
• Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to support project delivery objectives.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
• Review project documentation, change requests, payment applications, and invoices.
• Support cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency and value improvement.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication and governance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety requirements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects within data centers, mission-critical facilities, power infrastructure, industrial projects, or other complex construction environments.
• Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, contract administration, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with Medium-Voltage (MV) and High-Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of substations, electrical distribution systems, grid connections, transformers, switchgear, and power infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.
• Fluent English communication skills; German is an advantage.
