Overview
As ISSO at Digital Realty, you strengthen cybersecurity across EMEA by shaping security planning, risk management, and control assurance. You collaborate with technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to embed security in systems and projects. You mentor the cybersecurity function and translate risk into concrete actions, building trusted stakeholder relationships. This role blends enterprise security design with hands-on governance to support PlatformDIGITAL and global facilities.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Ensure cybersecurity measures comply with contractual requirements and SLAs
- Build trusted relationships across external systems and architectures
- Design and implement enterprise security solutions integrated with the IT environment
- Assess security impact of proposed changes and provide recommendations
- Monitor recovery processes to ensure restoration of security features after outages
- Oversee integration of new security solutions with production IT and engineering teams
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments; report findings and metrics to senior management
- Serve as central cybersecurity contact across the organization and embed security in the project lifecycle
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the cybersecurity team and foster continuous improvement
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, network operations, and data center operations
- Strong knowledge of network security and security architecture
- Strong knowledge of OT/ICS security challenges
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, SOC 2, FedRAMP, SOX and translating them into practical controls
- Clear communication of security topics to technical teams and senior management
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Hands-on experience with GRC platforms – ServiceNow IRM/GRC is a plus
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and incident response processes
- Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning; certification path support (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GICSP, IEC 62443)
