Overview
As a Construction Manager at Digital Realty, you will lead data center and infrastructure construction projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring safe, on-time, high-quality delivery within budget. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and customers to manage plans, risks, and governance while driving operational excellence. This role combines technical oversight with collaboration across cross-functional teams to scale mission-critical facilities. You will contribute to safety culture and value-driven project delivery, shaping a pivotal part of our global data center portfolio.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Plan, coordinate and deliver data center and infrastructure construction from inception to completion
- Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, forecasts, and project controls
- Oversee on-site construction ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
- Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans
- Review project documentation, change requests, payments, and invoices
- Support cost management and identify efficiency/value opportunities
- Provide regular updates and reporting to stakeholders
- Maintain governance and communication across the project lifecycle
- Promote collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Champion a strong safety culture and adherence to health and safety requirements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in data centers or complex infrastructure
- Proven track record delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, contract administration, and risk management
- Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Knowledge of Electrical systems (HV/MV) and building services infrastructure
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or construction management
- Fluent English; German is a plus
