Overview
As a Facility Engineer at Digital Realty, you will support critical data center infrastructure through monitoring, planned servicing, and corrective maintenance. You’ll perform routine plant inspections, act as first-line responder, and ensure work aligns with regulations and internal processes. You will manage vendor relations to maximize uptime and optimize PUE, collaborating with service planning, security, suppliers, and customers. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide monitoring, servicing, and corrective maintenance on data center infrastructure and equipment
- Conduct routine plant inspections and respond to issues as first line of contact
- Ensure all activities comply with regulations and internal procedures
- Manage vendor relationships to maximize uptime/SLA and improve PUE
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (Service Planning, Security, 3rd party suppliers, customers)

- Electrotechnical experience with exposure to electrical switch operations (authorized)
- 1-2 years practical electro-technical experience
- Experience with large-scale electrotechnical systems (preferred)
- Experience with mechanical systems (preferred)
- Experience with fire detection and suppression systems (preferred)
- Experience with conveyor technique/elevators (preferred)
