Climate Change Analyst

My client is an innovative tech-for-good start-up based in Berlin. With almost a third of global greenhouse gases coming from food production, this cutting-edge software provider is at the forefront of the solution securing funding of over €10 million in just 2 years. They require a Business Analyst to help their clients understand the climate data insights in order to set an accurate and achievable Net Zero target.

The role

1. Conduct calculations to work out carbon footprints for several different clients
2. Work closely with their client base ensuring accurate data collection, calculations and data analysis
3. Produce insights from the calculations to be used for Net Zero target plans
4. Keeping up to date with the latest environmental regulations and protocols
5. Create “products” from the calculations to offer the same service to future clients

Skills and experience required

1. Experience in carbon footprint calculations (corporate/product) is required
2. At least 3 years’ experience with client facing positions
3. Previous experience in consulting start-ups (or other fast paced environments)
4. Strong skills in complex datasets and quantitative analysis
5. Fluent German speaker
