Senior SEO Manager – Berlin

A globally active performance marketing agency in Berlin need a Senior SEO Manager to join their expanding team. They are experts in creating data-driven, scalable strategies across SEA, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Display Advertising.

They need a seasoned Senior SEO Manager with 7+ years of practical experience across all areas of SEO. This is a client-facing position that requires fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level) and exceptional communication skills. You’ll be leading SEO initiatives end-to-end—developing strategy, executing campaigns, and advising clients at every stage. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how SEO fits within the broader digital marketing ecosystem.

Skills and experience required:

• 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house) performing in-depth audits and implementing technical improvements
• Fluent in German and English (C1+ level)—must be confident communicating with clients in both languages.
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, content, on-page, and off-page strategies.
• Strong analytical skills—experience with tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and ideally some SQL.
• Background in enterprise, e-commerce, or international SEO is a plus.

Desirable skills include:

• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Familiarity with paid media, marketing automation, or multichannel strategy.
• Working knowledge of schema markup, Python, or SEO scripting.
