FP&A manager (f/m/d)

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in our finance team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Financial planning: Develop and maintain our financial model to support the financial modelling of our business lines, own our budgeting, long-term strategic planning, as well as forecasting, and coordinate planning processes closely with key stakeholders across the business.
• Financial analysis: Analyse our financial and operational results by partnering with our business line leads to explain the developments in our business. Keep a close eye on our unit economics across multiple business lines to identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions where necessary.
• Financial reporting: Develop and maintain insightful reports together with our data team to keep our management and business lines informed and facilitate decision-making by providing recommendations for action.
• Process improvements: Bring in your ideas and take action to challenge and improve our existing planning and reporting framework.
• Tools: Lead the transformation of our mostly Excel-based planning and reporting landscape into a state of the art planning toolset that helps improve the efficiency and quality of our planning processes.
• Business Partnering: Partner with our business lines to understand the developments of our business and support them in increasing the level of transparency of their target monitoring.
• Presentation: Present and discuss the status and results of our planning processes and regular reporting cycles with our senior management.

Your profile

• You have 3-5 years of proven professional experience in Finance & Controlling, ideally with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modelling and/or Business Controlling.
• You have a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Your excellent communication skills allow you to translate complex financial information into engaging narratives.
• You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills to build trustworthy cross-functional relationships with our stakeholders.
• You are hands-on and solution-oriented and feel comfortable in situations where best practices or pre-defined paths don\’t exist yet.
• You have extensive knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow as well as relevant financial accounting and reporting concepts.
• You have experience with BI and planning tools.
• You are fluent in English. German skills would be a plus.
