Application Developer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:
- As a software developer, you will implement applications for the PowerFactory grid calculation software.
- Your tasks will focus on the further development and maintenance of various stationary calculation methods such as load flow, short circuit, network reduction, cable calculation and related methods.
- Your responsibilities will include the entire development process: research, design, specification and implementation through to testing and maintenance.
- You will support our application engineers with customer support.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed university studies as a Master/Dipl.-Ing. or Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical power engineering or a comparable degree programme.
- Experience in the development of network calculation methods, in particular stationary calculations such as load flow analysis, network reduction or short-circuit calculation.
- Knowledge of modelling common equipment such as lines, transformers, generators, loads.
- Practical experience in an object-oriented programming language (such as C++, Java, C#).
- Knowledge in the area of planning and operation of energy supply networks is an advantage.
- You have good command of written and spoken English. A good command of German is of advantage.
- You are characterised by your teamwork and communication skills, motivation and ability to work under pressure.
- You enjoy deepening your expert knowledge and developing new subject areas.
