Power System Modelling Expert / Electrical Engineer (f/m/d)

We assist energy providers and grid operators in tackling the challenges posed by digitalization in the energy sector. Our products PowerFactory, StationWare, and Monitoring Systems are utilized worldwide in over 170 countries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced calculation models and grid calculation procedures.
• Support modeling for steady-state calculations, dynamic simulations in RMS and EMT domain.
• Lead the entire development lifecycle, from research and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with application engineers to ensure customers receive top-notch support and solutions.

Qualifications

• Master, Diplom-Ingenieur, or Doctoral degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Experience with C++, ideally with MS Visual Studio
• Knowledge of modeling equipment such as cables, transformers, generators, and loads (ideally)
• Structured, committed work approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent English; German a plus
• Willingness to deepen expertise and explore new subjects
