Senior Project Manager Bakery (m/w/d)

TASKS:

Sales Support:

1. Conduct customer consultations to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
2. Support sales representatives by addressing technical questions and providing expert guidance.
3. Create detailed calculations and proposals to assist in the sales process.
4. Perform technical feasibility checks to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
5. Promote cross-selling opportunities within the Hillenbrand portfolio to maximize customer value.
6. Drive the innovation and market introduction of AGV solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Project Delivery:

1. Lead internal project management efforts for large and complex projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
2. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
3. Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project delivery.
5. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, promoting best practices in project management.

PROFILE:

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
2. 3-5 years of experience in sales support, technical sales, or project management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.

Technical Skills:

1. Technical know-how related to the bakery market.
2. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
3. Ability to create detailed calculations, proposals, and technical documentation.

Interpersonal Skills:

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Strong customer service orientation, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
3. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

Project Management Skills:

1. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
