Safety Officer (Expert) (m/w/d)

Job Responsibilities:

As a safety officer, you:

1. Prepare our safety publications and develop the safety trainings at Discover Airlines.
2. Organize, support, and attend OCN’s (internal safety-related meetings).
3. Support the safety manager in maintaining our database and tracking safety actions.
4. Maintain our IT systems in workable condition (e.g. IQSMS).
5. Improve documentation and process descriptions of the safety department.
6. Manage the day-to-day work within the safety management according to the latest requirements and industry standards/best practices.

Qualifications:

You should have:

1. A bachelor’s degree or completed a professional training.
2. Experience in aviation safety management, familiar with IOSA and auditing.
3. Permission to work in Germany (or be an owner of an EU Passport).
4. Fluency in English and German, both verbally and in writing.
5. Strong organizational skills and social skills to adapt easily.
6. Resilience and enjoyment in being in touch with employees.
