Job Summary:
We have partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical company from development to commercial manufacturing. We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support business growth and operational excellence within our operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analysing market trends, optimizing business processes, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Assist in developing and implementing long-term business strategies aligned with company goals.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to support data-driven decision-making.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify process improvement opportunities within manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations.
- Financial & Business Modelling: Develop forecasts, business models, and financial projections to evaluate growth opportunities and risks.
- S&OP Coordination: Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with business development, operations, R&D, and finance teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential business risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or consulting within the pharmaceutical/CDMO industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in market research, financial modelling, and forecasting.
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and their impact on supply chain and business strategy.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory requirements, and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with senior management and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
