For a specific client project, we’re looking for an experienced developer for a twelve-month assignment. /ppYou’ll work in an environment where specifications, architecture, and implementation are closely intertwined. This also means we expect you to critically evaluate a requirement before you build it. AI-powered development is part of our daily routine—not just a pilot project. What matters is that you can assess what an agent has delivered. /ph3Your Role /h3ulliYou’ll develop and maintain services in Java and Spring Boot, from the API to integration into existing system landscapes. /liliYou’ll be responsible for your code all the way through to production: CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and testing. /liliYou’ll put coding agents to productive use, prepare context and specifications so they deliver usable results, and critically review their output. /liliYou’ll contribute to architectural decisions and speak up when a solution works technically but misses the mark from a business perspective. /li /ulh3What You Bring to the Table /h3ulliAt least 5 years of development experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems. /liliPreferably familiar with Google Cloud Services such as Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc. /liliProficiency in DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud (Google, Azure, or AWS), observability. /liliExperience with integrations, APIs, and databases in established environments. /liliHands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding, including the ability to critically evaluate generated code. /liliA willingness to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar technical domains and to question requirements rather than simply implementing them. /liliYou communicate confidently in German and English and are willing to work at our location in St. Gallen or Bern. /li /ulh3This isn’t for you if … /h3p… you need a completed ticket to get started. /pp… you don’t know how to use AI tools or trust them without verifying them first. /pp… your responsibility ends at the merge. /ph3What We Offer /h3ulliA clearly defined mandate.
