Legal Counsel (m/f/d)
Join the team at DISH Digital Solutions as a trusted legal advisor, providing practical guidance across product, technology, go‑to‑market, and leadership functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day proactive legal counsel for product features, business initiatives, pilots, and market rollouts.
- Lead and coordinate legal projects related to civil/contract law, IT & data protection (GDPR), and competition law.
- Draft and review contracts, partner agreements, procurement documents, general terms, data protection notices, and internal policies that scale across European markets.
- Expand templates and playbooks, emphasizing IT law and anti‑money‑laundering law, to enable scalable compliance.
- Embed GDPR and security principles into product development, consent flows, data‑sharing models, and vendor frameworks.
- Advise on AI and data governance by partnering with the AI Community and Data Team to guide product development, usage policies, and risk management; leverage the EU AI Act for best practices and create clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer (LL.M).
- Relevant experience in an international company or law firm, ideally supporting digital products or tech‑enabled services.
- Solid grounding in IT law and familiarity with competition law in a digital context, with readiness to go deep on POS and Payment topics.
- Interest or hands‑on exposure to the EU AI Act, model governance, AI risk classification, and policy drafting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
