ppThe Robotics Manufacturing Engineer drives industrialization and manufacturing engineering for the Dexter surgical robot and its accessories by owning mechanical and mechatronic sustaining engineering, manufacturing testing, root-cause analysis of manufacturing issues, and design transfer. The role operates in a regulated ISO 13485 environment, with the CMO as the primary production site. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the manufacturing link between the CMO, supply chain, quality and RD (HQ), and support the commercial ramp-up of Dexter production. /li liPerform level-2 production troubleshooting and mechanical root-cause analysis on complex electromechanical assemblies. /li liInitiate and execute Change Requests, and associated Design Transfers, end-to-end in the regulated QMS, assess change impact on technical and quality aspects. /li liEdit existing SolidWorks drawings, assemblies and BOMs to reflect manufacturing-level changes and submit rev-ups to RD for review and approval. /li liContribute to pFMEA, DFM reviews, work instruction authorship and inspection plans; participate in IQ/OQ/PQ execution and reporting. /li liMaintain manufacturing tools and test equipment and ensure they remain properly calibrated at the CMO site. /li liTrain CMO personnel on updated processes and documentation, and drive best practices and continuous improvement on the line. /li liEnsure compliance with applicable norms and regulations, and maintain QMS documents and records — including Device History Records (DHR) capturing all Dexter robot configurations /li /ul h3Work Experience and Education requirements /h3 ul liMSc or BSc with relevant experience in mechanical or mechatronics engineering. /li li3-6 years in medical device manufacturing (Class II). /li liHands-on experience with complex electromechanical assemblies in production. /li liWorking knowledge of ISO 13485 and demonstrated change-control execution experience. /li liStrong plus: experience at a CMO / managing production at a sub-contractor site; surgical robotics, motion systems or implantable device background; design transfer ownership on a Class IIb or III device. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills Abilities required /h3 ul liMechanical integration expertise: tolerance stack-up and interference assessment on complex assemblies without RD escalation. /li liSolidWorks at sustaining level: edit drawings, assemblies and BOMs; assess interferences, tolerances, fatigue and material/process constraints. /li liHands-on, floor-present approach; rigorous on documentation closure. /li liComfortable operating with indirect authority at a CMO site. /li liFluent written and spoken English. /li liOpen to travel, up to 60% (German-speaking Switzerland and broader Europe). /li liStrong plus: French or German speaker. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liA dynamic, innovative environment with cutting-edge medical technology that is shaping the future of robotic surgery. /li liFast-growing Company where innovation meets agility. /li liStructured onboarding program and training, ensuring a confident start. /li liHigh degree of autonomy and flexibility. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
