Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) – Azure / DevOps Allrounder

Requirements

• You’re at home in the cloud, especially in the Azure ecosystem. Things like Azure Firewall and Security Services are second nature to you.

• You work confidently with Infrastructure as Code, like Terraform, and Configuration Management through Ansible, and you enjoy automating processes.

• Writing scripts in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash comes easily to you, and you are comfortable working with JSON.

• CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab, are part of your daily toolkit, along with a solid understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and testing.

• Teamwork matters to you, so you are happy to take on on-call shifts when needed and collaborate closely with colleagues across different teams to achieve the best results together.

About the job

• You design, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructures in Microsoft Azure – with a focus on Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall.
• You automate deployments and configurations using Terraform and Ansible.
• You work closely with the client team and internal project groups to ensure stable DevOps processes.
• You develop and test scripts and tools in Python, PowerShell, and Bash – including quality checks with pytest.
• You implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab CI.
• You take part in the on-call service, helping to ensure high availability and security of the systems.
