Drive commercial growth in Food Safety consulting Diversey Consulting is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth across the DACH region. This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise in food safety with commercial leadership. You’ll work closely with major food organizations, helping them design and implement world‑class solutions—while driving revenue, partnerships, and market expansion.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Drive business growth across the DACH region, owning pipeline, revenue and results
Develop and execute a commercial strategy to expand Diversey Consulting’s footprint
Identify and build strategic partnerships within the food industry
Lead consultative sales processes, from needs assessment to solution design and closing
Act as a trusted advisor to clients (Quality, Operations, Food Safety leaders)
Own regional P&L performance and business outcomes
Coordinate and manage delivery teams (consultants, partners, laboratories, etc.)
Ensure successful execution of client projects
Must-have
University degree in Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Veterinary Sciences or similar
Strong technical understanding of food safety and operations
Fluency in German and English
Experience & Mindset
Experience in business development, sales, or consultative roles
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate expertise into business opportunities
Ability to assess client needs and propose tailored, value‑driven solutions
Natural relationship builder with strong communication skills
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results‑driven
Comfortable managing both clients and cross‑functional delivery teams
