At DKB Code Factory, you\’d be working as part of a dynamic and exciting team. Collaborating with Backend, Frontend, DevOps and QA Engineers and at the same time with our Product Owner and Business Analyst on revolutionizing the processes for new or existing customers on various products.
As a Senior Backend Developer you\’ll build and maintain Kotlin and Spring-Boot based Microservices, expose REST APIs for our consumers while at the same time integrate with various internal and external systems in order to offer a holistic signup flow that will contribute to a seamless and user-friendly experience for our valued customers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in the conceptualization, development and automated testing of scalable APIs.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in ongoing maintenance and enhancement of software systems.
- Provide technical leadership and conduct code reviews.
- Ensure software quality through testing and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to supplement our perpetual quest for betterment.
- Be a mentor for other colleagues in and around the team.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 5 years experience in development using Kotlin.
- You have experience with a diverse set of tools (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL).
- You’re a go-getter: you are passionate about developing great products and self-learning.
- You have a formal education in computer science? Cool. You don\’t? Also cool, tell us your story.
- You’ve had experience working with agile workflows.
- Bonus: You have a Startup and/or Finance background.
- You\’re passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
