What you can expect

As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • You independently develop and apply statistical and ML-based models (e.g. regression models, time series analysis, classification, clustering) to solve sales-related use cases such as pipeline forecasting, churn prediction, or lead scoring.
  • You design and manage Data Science and AI solutions in Python/SQL (on Azure and Snowflake) – from proof of concept to production‑ready deployment in a sales environment.
  • You take full ownership of analyzing large sales data sets and derive clear, actionable recommendations for your sales stakeholders.
  • You drive close collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to further develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
    You translate complex data into clear insights using audience‑focused data storytelling.
  • You support data quality assurance and validate model inputs in close alignment with Data Governance.
  • You guide and support other Data Scientists, encouraging them to explore new approaches and actively fostering their professional growth.
  • You proactively identify optimization potential and develop new use cases for AI and analytics within the sales domain.
  • You create and deliver self‑explanatory presentations for various audiences, including senior management, and translate analytical results into impactful business insights.
  • You independently develop innovative solutions using cloud‑based tools (primarily Python for prototyping) that generate tangible value for DKV Mobility.

What makes you stand out

  • You bring several years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, including a confident command of statistical methods, regression models, time series analysis, as well as classical ML and modern AI algorithms.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Python and SQL and independently develop new, value‑generating solutions in a cloud‑based environment – including GenAI use cases such as LLMs, RAG systems, or “talk‑to‑your‑data” interfaces.
  • You have solid experience in building robust end‑to‑end ML pipelines and implementing MLOps standards (e.g. CI/CD, model registry, monitoring).
  • Within the Sales Data Hub, you take functional ownership of predictive models (e.g. forecasting, churn models) and drive proof‑of‑concept initiatives for new models.
  • Ideally, you bring experience with sales processes, CRM data, and relevant sales KPIs, as well as working with SAP and Power BI.
  • You stand out through strong communication and collaboration skills, a high level of autonomy, and reliability. You present complex analyses in a clear and understandable way and actively support the development of other data scientists as a mentor.
  • You are confident communicating in both German and English.
