Senior Investment Manager Landentwicklung (m/f/d)

Your mission

Land Development GmbH specialises in the creation of construction and planning law and currently manages assets of around 2.2 billion euros in Germany. As the European market leader for sustainable neighbourhood developments, our aim is to create value for investors and society through innovative and responsible investments.
DLE develops individual solutions and concepts for the projects and for the fund shareholders – usually institutional investors, including many pension funds and pension schemes from Germany – taking into account the respective urban development and landscape planning requirements.
We are looking to strengthen our Investment Management department as soon as possible.

• Preparation and implementation of purchase and sales processes, including the identification of potential development and investment properties
• Preparation of comprehensive location and market analyses as well as detailed investment calculations
• Preparation of investment memoranda as a sound basis for management decisions
• Supporting and conducting negotiations during acquisition and sales processes
• Carrying out due diligence, including managing and coordinating the technical, legal and tax-related property inspection as well as selecting and monitoring external service providers
• Data room management in the course of purchase and sale transactions
• Building and maintaining a strong network with property owners, authorities, service providers and potential investors

Your profile

• You have a degree in business administration, property management or a comparable course of study.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in transactions and investment management with a focus on project and land development.
• Your knowledge of financial modelling is sound and you can evaluate investment projects independently.
• You have a sound understanding of the steps involved in creating planning law.
• You are an independent, precise and performance-orientated person with strong communication, assertiveness and presentation skills.
• You are characterised by your drive, your ability to implement, your entrepreneurial thinking and your sense for opportunities.
• You are professional, personable and serious in your dealings with business partners and colleagues.
