Maritime Competence & Learning & Academy is the Governing unit for DNV Maritime's global Academy function, ensuring consistency of course offerings and service delivery.
General Purpose of the role:
Ensure the Maritime Academy Course Portfolio is meeting the market needs, content is attractive, and delivery is in line with DNVs quality ambition, so that the local Maritime Academies can successfully capitalize on the course portfolio in their markets.
Main Tasks & Resonsibilitities:
- Analyse market demands for training courses
- Drive development of the Maritime Academy Course Portfolio, ensuring it meets market demands.
- Ensure course concepts & materials are attractive, modern, and meet DNV’s quality ambition.
- Ensure Trainers understand and apply thr course material effectively.
- Manage the Academy Trainer community, including regular experience exchanges.
- Support local Academies in business development & sales.
- Liaise with internal & external subject matter experts on course concept & material.
- Review and improve thr Maritime Academy’s quality standards on courses and course delivery.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in educational sciences or digital media sciences, or relevant professional experience
- Min 5 years of professional experience in technical and/or educational functions in the shipping industry
- Sales & marketing experience
- Advanced project management skills
- Excellent communication skills with experts on expert topics
- Relevant experience in adult vocational training, preferably in the maritime industry
- Full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken (must have)
