Your Responsibilities

As the Team Lead Customer Engagement Applications (m/f/d), you lead this newly formed team through its establishment and beyond by building team identity, ensuring reliable delivery and operation of customer-facing services, developing team members, and acting as the primary interface to Marketing, the Commercial Applications & Integration team, and upper management. Over time, you will additionally grow into ownership of the Dynamics 365 platform as team responsibilities evolve.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You lead and mentor the team, fostering professional growth and development with clear objectives and structured feedback.
• By actively shaping the formation of the new team, you establish team identity, working agreements, and clear ownership of the customer-facing domains.
• You ensure seamless alignment between the dedicated Product Owner, developers, and operations, as well as with the Commercial Applications & Integration team, by continuously monitoring the situation.
• Over the first 12–18 months, you gradually assume ownership of D365 platform-level topics (environments, release management, governance) in a structured handover from the Commercial Applications & Integration team.
• Ensuring reliable 24/7 operation of customer-facing services, you organize the team's rotating on-call responsibilities.
• You champion the end-customer perspective by safeguarding the reliability, usability, and security of all customer-facing services (portals, self-service, identity).

What you need to succeed

• You bring proven experience in software development and in leading a development team, or you can clearly demonstrate your readiness to step into a leadership role.
• With strong knowledge of software development disciplines and how they work together, your approach is well grounded.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (SSO, OpenID Connect) is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or the Power Platform (Power Pages) is part of your toolkit.
• When working across SaaS platforms, you understand API-based integration.
• In operating customer-facing web applications and/or portal solutions, you have experience that includes availability and incident-response aspects.
• In an agile, mostly remote environment, you thrive and bring strong passion and drive to your work.
• Beyond the technical skills, your communication and collaboration skills are excellent, and you work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
