Engineer Project Management Combustion (m/f/d)

• Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks

• Processing projects in the Combustion division and tracking deadlines for orders
• Customer support, correspondence and coordination of project meetings with the individual departments
• Independent design and development of technical solutions in the field of special machine construction
• Creation of 3D models, drawings and technical documentation, taking into account the relevant standards and guidelines
• Close collaboration with other specialist departments such as layout, boiler and pipework construction, mechanical engineering, quality assurance and project management
• Optimisation of existing designs with regard to functionality and manufacturability
• Supporting the creation of technical specifications and tenders
• Participation in design reviews
• Coordinating and monitoring external design service providers and suppliers during order processing, including installation and commissioning support
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of design and standard templates

Your Profile

• Engineering degree (university/university of applied sciences), state-certified technician (m/f/d) or completed technical training in the field of mechanical and plant engineering or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in the design of mechanical components and systems as a technical draughtsman, designer or in a comparable position
• First professional experience in project management
• Required experience in the high temperature range
• Sound knowledge of 2D/3D design with CAD software AutoCAD and Inventor
• Confident handling of Autodesk Vault
• Good knowledge of the application of technical standards and guidelines
• Analytical thinking and solution-orientated way of working
• Team and good communication skills
• Initiative and willingness to take responsibility
• Willingness to occasionally travel nationally and internationally
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
