Position Overview dormakaba Global IT is seeking a Program Manager SAP & Business Applications to lead the execution of critical enterprise transformation initiatives. This role is central to delivering large-scale SAP programs that underpin dormakaba’s core business processes across finance, supply chain and operations.
You will join a global IT organization focused on translating innovation into scalable, business-relevant solutions. With SAP as a strategic platform, dormakaba continues to evolve its systems and processes to support a more connected, efficient and digital enterprise.
What you will do Taking full ownership of strategic programs from initiation through to successful delivery and value realization. This includes managing scope, timelines, budget, risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams and partners.
Establishing and leading governance structures with senior business and IT stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment and effective decision-making.
Steering execution on a day-to-day basis, proactively resolving issues and bringing clarity to complex and fast-moving environments.
Leading cross-functional, multi-vendor teams across regions, fostering collaboration and a strong sense of shared accountability.
Actively building alignment across stakeholders and ensuring that delivered solutions are anchored sustainably within the organization.
Promoting a structured and transparent approach to risk, quality and change management, ensuring stability and long-term value creation.
The SAP Focus SAP transformations are at the core of this role. You bring strong experience in managing complex SAP landscapes and understand the critical success factors of large-scale implementations.
While you are not expected to configure SAP systems yourself, you have the expertise to challenge delivery approaches, assess integration risks, and ensure alignment between functional, technical and business perspectives. You confidently engage with business leaders, SAP functional experts, and implementation partners to keep programs on track and outcome-focused.
What we require You Bring
A proven track record of leading complex enterprise programs end-to-end, with at least 7 years in program or project management.
Hands‑on experience delivering SAP implementations or transformations across the full lifecycle, including planning, go‑live and hypercare.
Strong experience managing multi‑vendor, cross‑functional teams across international environments.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior executives.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe; SAP or ITIL certifications are an advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
Fluent business English; German is a strong advantage.
