Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our Housekeeping team.
Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city’s leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The hotel has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. It is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.
About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Housekeeping Department, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms assigned to the room attendant on a daily basis. The Housekeeping Attendant reports to the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisors.
As Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Professional cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Perform turndown service and handle guest requests
Responsible use of cleaning supplies in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Forward lost and found items to the housekeeping office
Report technical defects to the relevant departments
Assist with special tasks within the housekeeping department
Manage and distribute laundry, guest amenities, and minibar items to floor storage rooms
Process and manage guest laundry, as well as issue hotel uniforms
As Housekeeping Attendant, we expect from you:
Strong service orientation and independent work style
Flexibility – position will include weekend and holiday shifts
Excellent manners and a high level of quality awareness
Open-mindedness, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
Very good knowledge of English; further foreign language skills are an advantage
Must have the right to work in Switzerland
