EHS Advisor - German Speaking
Dornan Engineering Group is aleading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Berlin, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Critical Infrastructure team as an EHS Advisor, supporting the delivery of a substantial sized Data Centre in the area.
Your day will include:
- Support the Project Management Team with the day-to-day health and safety activities on site.
- Conduct regular formal site audits & inspections as directed by the Safety Management system.
- Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all employees and contractors.
- Ensure sub-contractor safety documentation is produced and available on site, relevant and in accordance with best practice and current German legislation.
- Advise/assist the Site/Project Management team in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities.
- Assist in incident/accident investigation, reporting and filing.
- Manage the Toolbox Talk schedule for the project, including attendance records.
- Give advice to site management on training requirements for the project.
- Furnish safety reports to head office as required.
About You
- Recognised EHS/Safety Qualification.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar EHS/Safety role.
- Previous experience on Data Centre projects desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of German health and safety legislation and requirements.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to influence safety across a project team.
