We welcome candidates from medical technology, healthcare services, distribution, and other relevant B2B sectors. Direct healthcare experience is valuable, alongside a demonstrated ability to enter new markets, lead teams, and turn business relationships into long‑term customer partnerships.
The Role As CEO & Business Partner, you will translate the company’s objectives into a practical Austrian market strategy. You will work with company leadership to define the operating model, investment priorities, commercial targets, and resources needed for local growth.
The position requires an executive who is comfortable moving between strategic decisions and day‑to‑day execution, including customer meetings, partner negotiations, recruitment, and operational planning.
Key Responsibilities

Assess market demand, customer needs, competitive positioning, and suitable routes to market for the company’s healthcare offering.
Build relationships with healthcare providers, rehabilitation facilities, distributors, purchasing organizations, and other relevant institutional customers.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate distribution agreements, commercial partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
Lead business development from initial qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation, and customer onboarding.
Establish local sales, customer support, and operational processes appropriate to the business’s stage of development.
Recruit and manage a multidisciplinary team, defining responsibilities and performance expectations.
Take responsibility for financial planning, revenue forecasting, cost control, and business reporting.
Coordinate with qualified regulatory, quality, legal, and technical specialists on applicable requirements.
Report progress, investment needs, and material business risks to company leadership.
Candidate Profile
Demonstrated senior leadership experience as a CEO, Managing Director, Country Manager, Business Unit Director, or comparable commercial executive.
A record of developing a market, growing a business unit, or building a successful distribution or service operation.
Strong knowledge of Austrian business practices and experience working with local customers and partners.
Relevant relationships in healthcare, medical technology, institutional procurement, or adjacent B2B markets.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to evaluate the commercial and operational implications of a partnership.
Experience managing budgets, financial performance, teams, and complex stakeholder relationships.
A practical, accountable leadership style and willingness to remain directly involved in business development.
Professional fluency in German and English.

The proposed package will combine a fixed annual salary with performance‑based incentives linked to clearly defined business objectives.
An equity participation or profit‑sharing arrangement may be considered, subject to agreed milestones, eligibility conditions, company approval, and a separate written agreement. The “Business Partner” title does not automatically confer share ownership.
Approved business travel and business development expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
The compensation package, reporting line, decision‑making authority, and partnership conditions will be discussed transparently during the selection process.
Initial Priorities During the initial phase, the successful candidate will be expected to:
