Junior technical Consultant (f/m/x) in Düsseldorf

The Supplier & Supply Chain Enablement (EDI) team within Business Technology is responsible for the stability, maintenance and future-proof development of electronic data interchange at DOUGLAS. It provides the technical foundation that local and global business teams rely on every day.

We are looking for a Junior Technical Consultant who combines technical expertise with a service mindset and helps shape projects around this solution. Do you want to keep our systems running smoothly and in line with the state of the art? A dedicated team is waiting for you to join.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• You are responsible for handling and coordinating supplier inquiries related to our SAP-supported business processes, ensuring smooth communication and efficient problem resolution.
• You manage the technical onboarding of new suppliers and coordinate their integration into our EDI landscape, taking existing SAP system and process structures into account.
• You support the centralization and harmonization of European EDI processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP systems and business processes.
• You ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, standards, and best practices in E-Invoicing and EDI, while supporting the continuous improvement of our processes.

YOUR SKILLS

• You hold a university degree in a technical or business discipline, or a comparable qualification.
• First relevant experience in a comparable role and a strong technical understanding round off your profile.
• Ideally, you already bring solid knowledge of EDI/SAP; further know-how you build together with us.
• A solution- and service-oriented approach shows in how you turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• German and English are languages you use confidently, both spoken and written.
• Structured documentation of technical topics is part of how you work, so knowledge stays accessible to others.
• Collaboration with business teams, technology teams and external providers is something you enjoy.
