For our headquarters in DĂĽsseldorf we are looking for you as
TASKS WITH IMPACT
Sales and Account Management
- You will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve your revenue targets in the DACH market with direct clients and media agencies.
- You will sell Retail Media Data Solutions products in addition to the Retail Media onsite and offsite portfolio.
- You will identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients and market segments specifically for data collaboration.
- You will build strong relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs, especially in a commercial and strategic way with Heads of Programmatic/Heads of Data/Chief Data Officers at large advertisers, DSPs and publishers.
- You will conduct sales presentations, negotiations and contract discussions to secure new partnerships and drive business growth through teams and face-to-face.
- You will work closely with internal teams based at Douglas HQ in DĂĽsseldorf, Germany, such as Client Services and Campaign Management, to ensure the successful implementation of client campaigns.
- You will drive the international exchange with the sales team based in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain and Poland to leverage synergies across markets.
Market Analysis and Business Development
- You will be responsible for the business development of data marketing products, specifically DMPs, CDPs, Data Clouds and their corresponding use cases, DSPs and programmatic buying processes.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, market demand and the competitive landscape in the retail media market.
- You will pursue new business development opportunities, including new strategic partnerships and collaborations, and actively seek opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell with existing clients.
- Educate brand decision makers on the new and emerging retail media category and 1P data opportunities through office visits, trade shows and virtual meetings.
- Together with the B2B Marketing & Automation Manager, you will develop proposals for sales promotion activities that are in line with the company’s overall objectives.
Reporting and Forecasting
- Track and analyze revenue goals through a lead and sales pipeline and monitor progress toward goals.
- Use Salesforce CRM to manage and track your customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
YOUR SKILLS
- You have successfully completed your studies in sales, (online) marketing, business administration or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Sales with ideally min. 1 year of experience in Data Sales.
- You bring a good understanding of the data marketing and partner ecosystem, specifically DMPs, CDPs, data clouds and their respective use cases, DSPs and programmatic buying processes.
- Understanding of the benefits of enriching first-party data (1PD) with compiled and transactional data and its orchestration within various client platforms.
- Knowledge of data activation across all marketing channels including display, social, ATV/CTV.
- Experience building or selling programmatic curated deals/PMPs that bundle specific inventory and data and deliver it to clients‘ DSP partners as an easy to activate deal ID.
- You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in the retail media or digital advertising industry with a proven track record in sales and business development, ideally on the publisher side.
- Fluent in German and English.
- You work collaboratively and use your excellent communication skills to build internal and external networks, present and negotiate, and balance the diverse interests of your stakeholders and clients.
- You approach tasks and projects in a systematic and methodical way with a structured working approach.
- You are proactive, self-motivated, goal-oriented and passionate about achieving your sales objectives.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment with many opportunities for growth.
