Senior Data Modeler - Snowflake

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join our clients data transformation journey. The organization is currently transitioning from multiple legacy systems to a centralized data repository based on Snowflake with a comprehensive data catalog maintained in Collibra. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining data models that facilitate seamless data integration accessibility and governance within this modernized infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable and efficient data models to support the transition to Snowflake.Collaborate with data architects data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into optimal data structures.Ensure that data models align with organizational data governance policies and Collibra catalog standards.Analyze legacy systems and define data migration strategies to ensure data integrity and consistency.Maintain documentation of data models definitions relationships and metadata within Collibra.Optimize data models for performance and scalability within Snowflake.Participate in data quality assessments and contribute to establishing best practices for data management.Provide expertise in resolving datarelated issues and recommend improvements.Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure that data models meet business objectives and compliance requirements.Qualifications : Required Qualifications:Relevant professional experience in data modeling data architecture or related fields.
