Tasks:
Management of the Finance & Accounting team in Germany to effectively support the globally operating entities
Ensuring service quality, process efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies and deadlines
Ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing (local GAAP and IFRS)
Being a strategic counterpart for the management team to develop the business with a long-term perspective
Support the preparation and management of the annual budgets for the business
Ensuring and taking an active role in the acquisition of potential additional companies and its subsequent integration

Profile:
Bachelor\’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. Master\’s or MBA preferred
8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting including leading teams
Experience in an industrial company or in a leading auditing or consulting firm (e.g. E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG)
Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, etc.)
Experience in working with multinational teams or in a global matrix organization
Good understanding of the business of an industrial company in the area of product / component business
Business acumen and very good problem-solving abilities
Private location in the Greater Ulm area / Bodensee region or willingness to relocate
