The Arria 10 SOM is an Arria 10 SoC System on Module with an emphasis on embedded and automotive vision applications. Using Altera’s Arria 10 SoC Devices in the 29×29 mm package, the module offers a multitude of interfaces in a small 10 cm by 6 cm form factor.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior SoC (System-on-Chip) Digital Engineer to join our team. This role involves growing into several tasks of ASIC development guided by an experienced team.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies for our highly complex SoC and image pipeline development projects.
- Assist in the design, simulation, and verification of ASICs
- Work closely with senior engineers to support development of complex SoCs
- Participate in RTL (Register Transfer Level) design and coding using the Verilog/System Verilog hardware description language
- Perform functional simulation and testing to ensure quality and performance with UVM and SystemVerilog
- Contribute to the development of testbenches for functional verification
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing hardware designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., software, hardware, verification)
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other collaborative activities to improve design quality
- Stay updated with the latest developments in ASIC design methodologies and technologies
- Support the integration of designs into larger systems and assist with post-silicon validation

- Fluent in English and Dutch or German, both written and spoken
