Senior Manager Defence Conference Programme & Content (m/f/d) – DSEI Germany

DSEI Germany brings together decision-makers from the armed forces, government, public authorities, industry and academia. As Senior Manager Defence Content & Conference Programme, you will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the conference programme, creating formats that foster dialogue on the key defence and security challenges of our time.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and a broad range of national and international stakeholders, playing a key role in positioning DSEI Germany as a leading platform for exchange, innovation and collaboration within the defence and security community.

Conference Programme & Content

• Lead the development, planning and delivery of the conference programme
• Identify relevant topics, trends and speaker profiles based on geopolitical, security and defence developments
• Develop innovative formats that go beyond traditional conference concepts
• Continuously refine and optimise programme content and structure

Speaker & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain a strong network across the armed forces, government ministries, public authorities, industry, research institutions and international organisations
• Identify, secure and manage high-level national and international speakers
• Coordinate and engage key stakeholders before, during and after the event

Dynamic Demonstrations & Live Formats

• Support the development and coordination of dynamic demonstrations and other live content formats
• Liaise with exhibitors, government authorities, security representatives and internal teams
• Ensure the successful delivery of all programme-related activities on-site

Project Management

• Manage defined workstreams across content, conference programme and demonstrations
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, operations, marketing and other internal teams
• Ensure the timely delivery of key milestones and project objectives

• Several years of professional experience within the defence, security, geopolitical or related environment
• Strong understanding of defence and security policy issues and the relevant national and international stakeholder landscape
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders from government, armed forces, public authorities, industry or international organisations
• Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
• Professional fluency in both German and English
